Event is a ecosystem designed around exceptions 

It notifies you of exceptions that require your attention

Exceptions that you define as being important to you.

Set to receive notifications within the Event ecosystem itself, or through e-mails or both...it's your choice!

How to activate notifications

As an Account user

This guide will step through getting started with notifications

Event has a full 'in application' notification service, with on screen popups, counter / viewer and email..

Everytime you receive a notification we will make sure you see it!

To activate a notification you simply subscribe to it.

The act of subscribing will activate the Event popup notification.

How do i subscribe?

Notifications can be accessed through your Profile page.

Select a notification to subscribe to by ticking the subscribe box.

This will give you on-screen notifications..

You then get the choice to receive e-mails. These are optional and can be activated as follows:

  • Never

  • Always

  • Only when logged out of Event

  • Only when logged into Event

Now they are active, what do i use?

Current notifications

Account notifications

  • Changes to the Create Order Configuration

All user types can subscribe. Invited users cannot make configuration changes but can be notified when ADMIN has made a change.

This notification is triggered when an ADMIN user on an Account makes a change to the CREATE ORDER configuration page and saves it.

  • Carrier ROUTE rejection

All user types can subscribe. Invited users cannot make configuration changes but can be notified when ADMIN has made a change.

This notification is triggered when a carrier rejects an offered route in CONNECT Allocate.

You can select the notification from the header notifier to navigate directly to the rejected route and reassign it.

  • New Carrier activated

All user types can subscribe. Invited users can invite new carriers and any other user can receive a notification to advise when the invite has been accepted.

This notification is triggered when a carrier accepts an invite to join your account and has signed up. When their account is active you will get a notification to let you know they are ready to use.

  • Carrier rate card import complete / failed

There are 2 parts to this notification, successful import and failed import.

All user types can subscribe. Invited users cannot upload Carrier Rate Cards but can be notified when a rate card has been uploaded / failed and has finished import and is ready to use.

This notification is triggered when a Carrier Rate Card is uploaded for validation and import. When the validation and import processes have completed a notification is sent to advise all users who have subscribed to this notification.are ready to use.

  • New uploaded invoice

All user types can subscribe. You will receive invoice notifications for all carriers connected to the Account.

This notification is triggered when a carrier uploads an invoice.

Current notifications

Carrier notifications

  • ACCOUNT ROUTE offer to a carrier

Only CONNECT user can subscribe. The e-mail address receiving is the login email

account. ACCOUNT users will not see these notifications.

This notification is triggered when a route is set to 'PUBLISHED' in ROUTE. Only the allocated carrier will receive the notification.

CARRIER users only.
